Children Policy
Children from the age of 6 years are welcome at the lodge. 6 - 12 years are only permitted on game drives at management discretion.
6 - 11 years of age
Pay published child rate when sharing with two full paying adults.
Full adult rate applicable if occupying their own room or if sharing with one full paying adult
12 years and older
A maximum of two children under 12 years can share with parents.
Considered as adults and accommodated in their own rooms. Pay full adult rates.
Activities
A variety of activities are on offer at the lodge, all in keeping with the African Wildlife Safari theme. These include guided walks, visits to the health spa, private plunge pools, bush picnics and champagne breakfasts. Video and slide presentations, traditional dancing, storytelling, special interest talks and even a canoe ride or a visit to the Sangoma or traditional healer can be experienced. Guest itineraries are matched to their needs and geared to bringing the guest closer to the Kruger Park Safaris experience of days gone by, and in particular to the rich history and traditions of the Kruger National Park
Walking Safari
Day 1
Arrive at Imbali Safari Lodge in time for lunch. A leisurely afternoon and early evening game drive is followed by a cozy dinner on return to the lodge.
Day 2
Early morning wake up call followed by a harty breakfast to get ready for your Walking Safari. Meet your guide for a briefing brfore setting out. The Walking Safari will take you from Imbali Safari Lodge to Hamilton's Tented Camp, along the way you will be able to enjoy the "small 5" as well as the spectacular flora and fauna of the surrounding bushveld. Break along the way to enjoy a short rest and a delicious pinic lunch. Arrive at Hamilton's Tented Camp in time to enjoy an afternoon siesta or an afternoon game drive. Dinner is served overlooking the river.
Day 3
Early morning wake up calls followed by a short morning game drive to watch the sunrise. Return to camp for breakfast before setting out for the day's journey which will take you from the colonial times of 1880 to the more traditional world of the Tsonga people. Break along the way to enjoy a short rest and a delicious picnic lunch. Arrive at Hoyo Hoyo Tsonga Lodge in time to enjoy an afternoon seista or an afternoon game drive. Dinner is served with traditional Tsonga dishes and you will be entertained with story telling and traditional dancing.
Day 4
Early morning wake up calls followed by your last look at the Kruger bushveld on a morning game drive. Breakfast and departure at leisure.
